I suppose I first used three.js three years ago. Lots of things must have changed.
Render samples is set to 2,500, but still has lots of noise.
Render Samples: Number of paths to trace for each pixel in the final render. As more samples are taken, the solution becomes less noisy and more accurate.

Cycles is a ray tracing renderer optionally used in Blender. The white dots are noise due to the limited computational power.

Different displays have different characteristics, such as gammas, so the impression, especially concerning brilliantness, may differ depending on your display.
